Shipping and Payment

The Following items and conditions apply:

Shipping conditions

Domestic delivery (Germany) and neighbouring countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom.

The delivery takes place exclusively with Deutsche Post/DHL.

Dispatch costs (inclusive of legally applicable VAT).

Domestic deliveries (Germany):

 Shipping is not included in the price, except for the Club subscriptions boxes delivered within Germany.

As standard delivery, our Club subscription boxes are delivered via the Deutsch Post, without tracking. Shipping with tracking can be requested with addition cost. We deliver our non-subscription products with DHL, and with an online tracking service.

We charge shipping costs on all other products on the basis of the order value (gross product value):

From an order value of 150,00 € onwards, we deliver shipments free of cost.

Delivery periods

Unless otherwise specified in the quote, domestic delivery (Germany) of goods shall be made within 3 – 5 days, for deliveries abroad within 5 – 7 days from conclusion of contract (if advance payment agreed from the date of the payment instruction).

Please note that deliveries are not made on Sundays and other holidays.

If you have ordered articles with different delivery dates, we send the articles together in one delivery if no other agreement has been made. The delivery date for the complete order will be the same as that of the article with the longest delivery time.

All orders are delivered exclusively via Deutsche Post/DHL.

There is no minimum order value.

Correct delivery depends on the availability of your delivery information. Minimum requirements for complete and punctual delivery are first and last name, street name, house number, postcode and city.

Further details on payment

If payment is to be made via an SEPA base debit note or an SEPA corporate debit note, you authorise us to collect the billing amount from the specified account by issuing a corresponding SEPA mandate. You will receive a pre-notification at least 5 days before the date of the direct debit collection. Please ensure that the account in question possesses sufficient covering funds on the due date.

If payment is made using a credit card, your credit card account is debited in conjunction with the conclusion of the contract.

Product availability

If we are unable to deliver a product you have ordered, we will notify you by e-mail. We will do everything we can to avoid this situation, but it may occur due to delivery bottlenecks at the manufacturers or transport difficulties (strike, bad weather, etc.). In summer we reserve the right to ship with delay at very high temperatures, or only in thermal packaging to protect the goods from damage. See below further details.

Summer months

Chocolate can melt in extreme heat, so please bear this in mind if you are looking to buy chocolate in summer. Under these conditions, we may offer you the option to request delivery with cool packs. For the cooling pack we will charge a fee. Due to space limitations in the packaging, this not available for Club subscription boxes.

To protect the goods from heat damage, if temperatures are above 25°C we reserve the right to dispatch the products w/o cooling pack with delay. We will inform you about any delays as soon a possible.

Chocolate Subscriptions (also called chocolate club or monthly subscription box)

The dimensions of our subscription boxes are: 240x160x45 mm.

The prices for our subscriptions box include shipping to Germany. We deliver to other EU countries with additional shipping charges. See table above.

When you order a subscription, an initial payment will be charged and the first box will be sent immediately. For all subsequent boxes, a recurring payment will be setup and processed on the 15th of each month and boxes will be shipped during 3rd week of each month.
